St. Paul’s Prayer Shawl Ministry
meets on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 P.M.
in the living room of the Parish House. Should the
first Monday be a national holiday it meets on second
Monday. This
group of women knits and crochets shawls for the sick
and bereaved of St. Paul’s extended parish family. The
completed shawls are blessed at a church service and
are then delivered as needed to those who are ill,
bereaved or in a crisis of some sort, along with copies
of prayers for healing, comfort and consolation. It
is not necessary to know how to knit or crochet to
join the group. Instruction and yarn and needles
are available for newcomers.
