Annual Giving

Why Your Support of St. Paul’s Is Important

Every year St. Paul’s must raise virtually every dollar we spend because, unlike many churches, we do not have a sizable endowment — a kind of "rainy-day" reserve fund, built up over time — to draw on for support of our programs and ministries.

Instead, the generous gifts of our members and friends, and monies raised via our various parish events, help us to live up to our call to serve Nantucket Island, and the world. These gifts are critically important to us.

Important ways to give to St. Paul’s:

  1. Annual Giving (see below)
  2. Memorial Gifts and Tributes
  3. A Planned Gift

Annual Giving

Our budget, our operations, and our mission depend on predictable generosity. By making an annual pledge or gift, we are answering God's call to support the ministries that educate us, spiritually prepare us, and improve our local and global community. As St. Paul’s assumes this role, our friends and parishioners have pledged about $ 220,000 to help support our operations, programs and ministries in 2009.  Generous as this is, it will cover only about 43% of our operating expenses.

Please contact the Parish Office if you are interested in making a pledge or a donation to St. Paul's.
