Adult Choir
St. Paul’s Choir provides musical
leadership each Sunday for the 10:00 AM Eucharist & Family
Service. Additionally, from time to time
the choir sings Choral Evensong, as well as providing
music for Holy Day services, such as Christmas Eve,
Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil. The
choir’s repertoire spans over 500 years, including
masterpieces of Renaissance polyphony, Classical and
Romantic repertoire, and music through the 21st century.
The parish has an adult choir of 10 members in the
winter and up to 16 members in the summer and for holidays. Choir
members range in age from high school students to retirees. Currently,
rehearsals are on Saturdays, at 4:00 pm.
The
Children’s and Youth Choir rehearses on Sundays,
around 11:15am, immediately after the ten o’clock
service. Fifteen young people are active in this
choir with many of them playing hand bells as well as
singing.
